We are seeking an experienced HRBP who will support both professional and union employees, implement HR processes, and be a leader in change management.  You will have the opportunity to engage and influence how the commercial and operational strategies are linked to the HR strategy.  You will have the ability to mentor and coach direct reports, create our employee experience, build out our onboarding process and be a critical partner in organization and talent assessment.  

In this role you will:

• Invent and develop HR strategies and initiatives as well as execute day-to-day HR operations.

• Lead performance management, organization & talent assessment, workforce planning, and compensation planning.

• Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, and skills assessment and development.

• Create a strong talent development engine that allows employees to grow and move to new opportunities without disruption to the business.

• Increase supervisor effectiveness to deliver high-performance, reduce employee relations issues, and create a great place to work. 

• Make data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention and the employee experience.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition to execute recruitment processes ensuring the attraction, hiring and onboarding of bar raising talent.

• Negotiate collective bargaining agreements, grievance meetings, arbitrations, and other Union-related activities.

• Provide expert advice and coaching to management and employees to cultivate a growth mindset.

• Balance both the strategic and hands-on work as situations require.

• Investigate employee relations concerns working with legal compliance team.

On your first day, we’ll expect that you have: 

• Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies.

• Experience leading in a manufacturing environment, and managing labor relations and other Union-related activities.

• Proven ability to identify issues, drawing on your professional experience and strategic problem solving skills, and drive appropriate solutions.

• Experience coaching and advising leadership, managers and employees to deliver high-performance and ensuring a coaching culture is cascaded through the organization.

• Ability to be analytical and ensure that the business rigorously measures and analyzes the right things to drive success.

• Experience driving continuous improvement in HR processes to deliver employee-centric programs and improve key performance indicators.
