Position Summary:

As the Senior Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll be helping us to cultivate an environment that attracts, develops, and retains amazing people.  You’ll partner with the HR team in support of employee recruitment and onboarding, HR systems management, employee record-keeping, and benefit inquiries.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • New Hire Onboarding -- Ensure a positive onboarding experience for new hires by ensuring all aspects of onboarding are completed accurately and timely including communication with new hires
  • Recruiting Support -- Set up college career Fairs, make hotel/flight/food arrangements and secure career fair speakers.  Work closely with the recruiter to identify prospective candidates, conduct screening phone calls, background searches, drug screening, and reference checking as needed
  • Benefits Management -- Partnering with our benefit administrator to administer new benefits and perk programs and assist with reporting for the HR team
  • HRIS Management -- Maintain accurate HRIS records, manage employee personnel files and complete other HR tasks related to HRIS management as requested by the HR team

Requirements

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree  
  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • Strong people skills, collaboration, and teamwork
  • High energy level coupled with ability to be discreet
  • Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities and excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential
  • Demonstrated effective time management and organization skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of federal and state HR laws and regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and from remote locations
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
