Flexport is looking for a Senior Global HRIS Analyst who will propel us into our next phase of rapid growth. Reporting to the Head of People Operations, this is a new role on our People team and is responsible for partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to design, deliver and administer core HCM, Payroll, Recruiting and Learning platforms (among others) for our global workforce. You will have an unprecedented opportunity to design our systems to allow Flexport to rapidly and efficiently scale.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide technical and functional leadership to design, execute and deliver robust solutions with Workday, Greenhouse and our learning platforms
  • Drive efforts to implement innovative new ways to improve the employee and manager experience
  • Oversee the design, build and testing of systems integrations; understand interdependencies between various systems and their downstream impact
  • Partner with the People team to deliver high-quality, comprehensive HRIS solutions for recurring business events, such as benefits open enrollment, performance management and compensation reviews
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, testing, validation and overall system performance; lead semi-annual Workday product update processes, including regression testing and contingency planning for larger project efforts
  • Own the processes and governance system for systems security administration
  • Provide Tier 2 production support for all HRIS issues
  • Implement configurations, processes and practices to enable a high level of data quality; periodically monitor and enhance data quality as needed
  • Be an evangelist for user engagement, including driving system adoption and utilization through the delivery of stakeholder, manager and employee education and communications
  • Design, implement and maintain a variety of reports targeted to our primary user audiences
  • Partner with external consultants - as needed - to deliver large-scale projects or feature additions


What you'll need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business Administration or similar relevant area of study
  • 5+ years experience with implementation and administration of HRIS
  • Minimum 3 years HR technical and functional experience on a leading enterprise platform with at least two of the following products: Core HCM (required), US Payroll, Recruiting, Benefits, Performance Management, Learning, Time Tracking and Absence Management
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS preferred
  • Exceptional technical aptitude and strong desire for learning new technologies and solution architectures
  • Familiarity with the full employment lifecycle (recruiting - onboarding - career development - offboarding)
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with basic Workday integration tools, including EIBs and reports as a service
  • Working knowledge of advanced Workday integration tools such as packaged Integrations, CCW / CCB, Workday studio, BIRT, etc.
