ASRC Energy Services, LLC (AES) is looking for an authentic “people person” who can be an integral, strategic business partner and a member of the Company’s senior leadership team as our Senior Director of Human Resources.

What are we looking for?

 

As our Senior Director of Human Resources reporting to the SVP & General Counsel, you will be the leader of our Human Resources team, and will need to function in a strategic and consultative role supporting all subsidiaries and business units of AES. This is a roll-up-your- sleeves environment, presenting a tremendous opportunity to identify and implement leading edge practices and have a big impact within a large organization.

 

This position requires a flexible team player who can think on his or her feet and a pro-active business partner who can form strong relationships throughout the entire organization. The business units within AES will turn to you for a new philosophy and approach that will raise the bar on human resources achievements.

 

The Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for:

  • Planning, developing, implementing, and directing the Human Resources department
  • Developing a comprehensive strategy with new, creative tactics and delivery models

  • Providing best-in-class service for Talent Acquisition, HRIS, and Employee Relations

  • Managing a department of approximately 14 employees

  • Identifying and leading new ways to implement technology, tools, process and methodology

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the organization's human resources department for Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning of new programs/strategies that impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of the people resources of the corporation

  • Develop and lead employment marketing initiatives and employee engagement metrics and retention programs

  • Develop strategies and implementation plans and programs to identify talent within and outside the corporation for positions of responsibility

  • Identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the company

  • Stay up-to-day on state of the art sourcing techniques and develop the team to use such techniques to develop talent pipelines for various openings and project needs

  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems and reports on the employee life-cycle, including turnover, time-to-fill, labor trends, and other metrics

  • Work with a diverse business group to improve the quality and efficiency of the planning, sourcing, hiring, and onboarding process

  • In conjunction with business unit leaders, develop and administer succession planning and the development of high potential employees

  • Evaluate processes, procedures, and technology solutions to improve human resources data management and other HR processes, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency

  • Provide guidance, coaching and development opportunities to employees in the human resource department

  • Manage and maintain the confidentiality of employee investigations, HRIS databases, employee personnel records, data security and integrity, and other Human Resources information and materials 

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field

  • Minimum of ten years of experience in Human Resources roles with a minimum of five years of experience managing a Human Resources department

  • A combination of fourteen years of education, training, and direct experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree

  • Experience in the oil and gas industry preferred

  • SPHR or SCP certification preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
