Hilton is hiring Senior Directors in Human Resources Consulting in all of our corporate locations in North America: Dallas, Memphis and Mclean. The Senior Director of HR Consulting will provide Human Resource business solutions in areas including, but not limited to, talent maximization, workforce planning, process improvement, and change implementation. The Senior Director will create robust strategic partnerships with broad client groups by proactively building relationships with business leaders, designing people specific strategy to help the business grow, and leading cross-functional teams to provide real world solutions to client needs.

What will I be doing?

In this role you will be responsible for building deep and credible relationships with global business leaders at Hilton and advising on all issues regarding organization structure and people strategy. You will create actionable plans with business partners including workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and succession planning and lead the execution of those plans, supported by multiple COE partners.

Key priorities for this position are:

  • Collaborate with other members of the Global HR group to ensure the best service is delivered to clients
  • Plan, execute and implement Human Resource cross functional projects and process improvement initiatives while meeting deadlines and managing to a specific budget
  • Partner with external vendors to align the desired project outcomes; lead by directing, coaching, and facilitating cross functional team resources, and monitoring the progress and completion of project milestones
  • Draft status updates and create strategic presentations aimed at informing, aligning, and engaging key stakeholders


To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience working in a corporate, matrixed environment
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources or Strategic Consulting experience
  • Must have strong computer skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Must have a broad global understanding of relevant legislation
  • Experience working in a business partnering environment
  • Ability to travel as needed

 It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related background with a strong understanding of budgets, reconciliation and forecasting, and risk and compliance
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of recent Human Resources strategic consulting experience
  • Experience in a global organization
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and Success Factors
