SUMMARY

TYLI’s Human Resources Department is seeking a Part-Time Senior Corporate Recruiter to join their team in the San Francisco Corporate office. This position is responsible for facilitating the recruitment and hiring of candidates and will also handle special projects as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs; coordinates new position requisitions approval process.
  • Reviews and edits job descriptions from Unit Managers.
  • Coordinates with hiring manager to determine best method of sourcing candidates, conducts sourcing.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates; works with outside recruiting firms on an as needed basis
  • Screens resumes, disseminates qualified resumes to appropriate hiring managers, coordinates interview process, administers appropriate reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), routes candidate hire approvals through internal process and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings
  • Manages current candidate activity and recruiting process in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Update Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) annually.
  • Handle VETS 100 and EEO1 reporting.
  • Work with immigration attorney to coordinate work visas and permanent residency applications.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a part-time exempt position, expected to work 24 hours (3 business days) a week. There is potential for the position to become full time, based on business need and employee performance, by Q1 2019.
