We are looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst to help support our Amyrisians and our Human Resources department. Amyris uses a transparent pay philosophy, and this is a great opportunity to join an innovative team and become a thought leader in Compensation.

* Develop, recommend, implement and administer global compensation policies and programs.
* Participate in salary surveys and analyze data from survey sources to determine competitiveness both internally and externally.
* Analyze country specific data and relevant market trends, develop salary structures and market pricing recommendations.
* Price new jobs utilizing salary surveys or slotting.
* Reviews requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate salary grade assignment.
* Assist in preparation of merit increase and incentive programs and budgeting.
* Review and monitor employee pay for conformance to established guidelines, policies and practices and recommend reviews if necessary.
* Monitor cost differentials, taxes for equalization and country specific incentives and variable pay.
* Ensure company compliance with country specific regulations and laws, including reporting requirements.
* May prepare special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, sales compensation or stock options.
* Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning.
* Prepares materials for the Compensation Committee and works with external executive compensation consulting firm.
* May include administration of domestic and/or international programs.

* 8-10+ years of related professional experience
* Subject-matter leader in compensation
* Can-do, make it happen attitude with a sense of humor
* Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
* Builds productive internal/external working relationships
* Ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner
* Excellent written and verbal skills
* Bachelor's degree preferred
