The Recruitment Specialist contributes to Sherwin-Williams’ regional sales performance by providing recruitment and training support to the Area’s Districts. The incumbent will represent the Company at career fairs and will target, select and coordinate college relations campaigns with key campuses. The position will visit these campuses to conduct classroom presentations and meet with professors, placement officers and student associations. The role will interview candidates for the Management Training Program (MTP) and Intern Program, conduct follow-up activities with candidates and provide applicant tracking results to key stakeholders. The Recruitment Specialist will assist in managing the Company’s Affirmative Action Program and the Area’s College Intern Program. The role will assist in overall employee relations efforts with Management Trainees during their training and after their placement using open communication to proactively eliminate barriers to development. The position will assist the Area Human Resources Manager in training initiatives and perform other HR generalist duties as assigned.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.

• Must have the ability to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or a business-related field.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Human Resources experience/education, particularly in the area of recruiting.

• Skilled at effective recruiting, interviewing and selection techniques.

• Experience in career path planning and development techniques.

• Strong training skills and knowledge of effective training methods.

• Strong administrative and planning skills with the ability to establish priorities, handle many projects at once, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
