Ballard Spahr has a new and exciting opportunity available in the Philadelphia office. As part of a hands-on collaborative team, this position will assist with daily operations for recruiting non-partner lawyers though all phases of the recruitment and onboarding, and assist with planning and conducting firm-wide training and CLE programs as well as providing support to other members in the Attorney Career Advancement department. 

The chosen individual will be a detail-oriented self-starter who will be responsible for posting jobs, drafting and preparing correspondence, data entry, scheduling candidate interviews and preparing candidate materials. In addition, the coordinator will assist with the PLI/CLE training programs by conducting research, contacting speakers, handling the facilities and hospitality logistics and organizing and overseeing the event details.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. The ability to handle multiple demands, prioritize tasks and respond effectively with competing deadlines is required. The ability to work beyond standard work hours may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a professional services organization; prior law firm experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required; experience with viRecruit, FileSite and a conference room booking program desired.
