Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) is a real estate and development project management company that provides consulting services to businesses in a wide variety of public and private sector industries. PMA’s team has proven experience in nearly every aspect of the real estate industry, and from both sides of the table, including backgrounds in construction, development, architectural design, engineering, asset management, brokerage and planning.

PMA is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Recruiter with relevant experience with full cycle recruiting and talent management.

Summary Overview

The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of employee by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). Focuses on proactively identifying and evaluating external talent to cultivate a pipeline of individuals to fill immediate and future hiring needs across all levels of Project Management Advisors, Inc.   This role will require also partnering with the VP, Human Resources for designing the strategies and tactics to build out a successful recruiting/talent processes to help leadership make informed hiring and business decisions. 

 Essential Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client and candidate experiences while conducting full cycle recruiting - sourcing, interviewing, closing and executing offer with the candidate.
  • Consistently source and network with passive talent to facilitate introductory/exploratory meetings
  • Partners with General Managers (GMs) to determine staffing needs.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Follows up with candidates and GMs to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  • Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).
  • Works with VP of Human Resources and others to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
  • Manages candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Capture and report on key metrics that show results, trends and opportunities in key talent markets and supported business areas.
  • Develops best practices for in-house search function, coaching and managing other resources to deliver against goals
  • Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to the industry.

Requirements

Required Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of professional recruiting experience for an engineering consulting firm, or related corporate environment;
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability in delivering process improvements
  • Strong oral and written communications skills, organizational skills
  • High level of integrity and ability to take initiative.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience with HRIS software implementation and/or upgrades
  • Certifications such as: CIR, ACIR or PRC highly desirable
  • Familiar with social networking (LinkedIn, Facebook, Glassdoor, etc.)
  • Experience with partnering with talent management efforts such as onboarding, job description creation, and career pathing.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to other office locations.
