The Nitty-Gritty:

What exactly you will be doing…

In helping you understand your role in working for a world class organization, the following is a list of your essential job responsibilities. Please keep in mind that this list is not all inclusive and that you may be asked to perform other job tasks by your supervisors/managers not listed below in the constant quest to provide “out of this world” customer service experience for our guests and teammates:

  • People are our priority, so we want to make sure that we're taking care of them. We want to assist our teammates in any way possible.
  • Assist with the coordination of scheduling interviews for managers
  • Assist with the roll-out of the benefit plans plan to all teammates
  • Maintain various HR logs including EEO log, I-9's, OSHA, etc
  • Help with all hotel teammate activities
  • Responsible for all office functions including filing, answering the phone, answering general inquires, etc

Requirements

What qualities are we looking for?

 

You got skills? If you are able to perform the following, then you have come to the right place…

  • Excellent Communication and People Skills; connecting with people and make them feel special comes natural to you!
  • Critical Evaluation; you enjoy anticipating any potential challenges
  • Ethical Practice; fairness, consistency and honesty  
  • You are passionate about Hospitality
  • Previous experience in HR preferred, but not a must
  • You are the Guru of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

 

Background must-have:

  • Hospitality or Human Resources degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of previous experience in HR or related field preferred
  • Great team player with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and Passionate
  • Unmatched attention to detail

Just like you communicate through your smart phone via text, social media or an actual phone conversation, please communicate directly with your Director of People regarding your work schedule, daily work tasks and responsibilities as well as general work-related issues. Face-to-face conversation is preferred of course!
