As a growing company, we are in search of an experienced Human Resources Generalist.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages and processes payroll and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook.

• Rewrites job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual salary surveys and develops merit pool; analyzes compensation; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

• Maintains employee personnel files, organization charts, employee directory, records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.

• Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt, and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program, and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews.

• Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action and coaches, counsels, and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions.

• Acts as an employee relations specialist and responds to employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaints.

• Administers company benefit plans including maintaining employee eligibility, managing open enrollment and annual renewals and reviewing benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment. 

• Administers COBRA for group health plans.

• Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data and makes recommendation to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement.

• Represents the company for any unemployment claims and responds to EEOC charges.

• Facilitates or provides training to the workforce.

• Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.

• Conducts new hire orientation.

• Maintains compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.



• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; five to seven years of experience in a human resources role required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Human Resources Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP required.
