This position requires a seasoned Human Resources professional with excellent business acumen to function as a strategic advisor of our enterprise-wide comp and benefits programs and ensure long-term success of the organization and HR programs.

The Manager, Comp, Benefits & HRIS primary objective is to manage the oversight of a comprehensive compensation and benefits program, performance management program and the enterprise-wide HR information management system. Ensures cost-effective benefit and wellness programs, and ensures the compensation, incentive and rewards programs remain competitive to attract and retain top talent. Responsible for the overall integrity and security of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).


  • Provides overall day to day management to compensation, benefits and HRIS in the areas of:
    • Organizational structure and talent management (performance and succession planning) to deliver the business’ strategy, operating plan and medium-term objectives.
    • Transforming from tactical to strategic value oriented.
    • Developing capabilities (functional and managerial) to operate in diverse circumstances and industries.
    • Creating an energizing work environment along with an innovative, efficient and flexible organization.
  • Recommends, as appropriate, changes in benefit and compensation strategies.
    • Investigates, analyzes, designs and administers the corporate employee benefit program with the goal of attracting, retaining and motivating employees while minimizing the financial impact to the Company and complying with regulatory and legal requirements.
    • Investigates, analyzes, designs and administers the corporate compensation programs with the goal of attracting, retaining and motivating employees as well as supporting the Company’s strategic plan.
  • Evaluates, recommends and implements HR department computer systems.
  • Prepares and monitors the corporate benefit budget and a portion of the Human Resources department budget.
  • Directs, trains and develops staff to enhance quality and quantity of employee work.
    • Directs and administers the corporate record keeping function to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal agencies.
    • Functions as Security Officer for the HRIS.
    • Develops, implements and monitors security programs of the HRIS.
  • Develops and/or implements corporate training programs, as appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


Requires a four-year college or university degree or its equivalent.


Requires more than eight years’ experience with progressively responsible positions, with a minimum of three years in a non-union manufacturing environment.


  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR systems, compensation laws (i.e. FLSA, ADA) and strategies, benefits design, ERISA laws and tax laws as they relate to qualified benefit plans
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
