Position Summary/Position


The Manager, Talent Acquisition & Compensation will lead an integrated talent management strategy with specific responsibility for the management, planning, implementation and evaluation of the recruiting activities. This position is also responsible for managing the compensation functions to meet the strategic needs of IEHP. The position will have a key role in the comprehensive design, development and implementation of IEHP’s Team Members’ compensation programs and position descriptions.  This position will manage staff in Talent Acquisition and Compensation functions.

Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)


Talent Acquisition:
1. Lead an integrated talent management strategy with specific responsibility for the management, planning, implementation and evaluation of the recruiting activities
2. Manage and develop the recruitment/onboarding process to ensure a consistent talent pipeline for all levels of the organization
3. Recruit top talent into the organization
4. Partner with internal teams and hiring managers to lead recruitment efforts
5. Lead the ongoing development of IEHP’s recruitment strategy. This may include job posting optimization, recruitment marketing channel development, job board procurement, digital and non-digital employment marketing, comprehensive recruitment campaign
6. Manage recruiting metrics to track, monitor and report on recruiting, turnover, retention, forecasting and succession planning.


Compensation:
1. Manages IEHP’s compensation program and structure by constantly reviewing and updating for relevance and accuracy for industry competitiveness and to support and drive IEHP’s culture
2. Educates leaders on compensation best practices, ensuring consistency of the program, and partners with them to identify options to better attract and retain talent
3. Ensures the organization is compliant with all applicable compensation-related regulations and standards
4. Partners with the compensation committee to manage, administer, and advise on all compensation related activity including but not limited to offers, merit, promotions and off-cycle adjustments
5. Conduct and analyze market salary studies as needed for various compensation benchmarking
6. Assist with developing communication strategies and materials for compensation processes
7. Analyze new or revised position descriptions to determine the appropriate salary grade assignment, compensation range, FLSA and worker’s compensation classifications
8. Research and maintain knowledge of federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations

Requirements

Experience Qualifications


Minimum six years of progressive experience in the Human Resources areas of talent acquisition and compensation. Minimum two years of leadership experience. PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Must have a valid California Driver's License.

Education Qualifications

 
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or relevant field from an accredited institution required. Master's degree preferred.

Knowledge Requirement

Requires knowledge of the talent acquisition and administration of compensation.  Must have a strong understanding of employment law, hiring practices, FLSA, including overtime exemption requirements and duties test.  Working knowledge of incentive compensation, pricing and job evaluation theories and practices.

Abilities Requirement

Outstanding interpersonal skills to build and enhance internal and external relationships. Ability to demonstrate discretion, good judgment, tactfulness and diplomacy.  Ability to work in fast paced environment and effectively manage time.  Ability to lead staff.

Starting Salary: $87,734.00  - $111,820.00  

 

Pay rate will commensurate with experience and not indicative of full salary range
