Manager/Senior Manager, People Operations

Ingenio is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager of People Operations to continue our progress in making Ingenio an exceptional place for employees to work and ensuring that the company is creating a culture that attracts and inspires the most passionate talent. The ideal candidate will be passionate about employee experience and will have experience scaling the People Operations function in a rapidly growing organization.

The Manager/Senior Manager will collaborate across the company to set the strategic direction for People Operations initiatives and guide their execution. In this role, you will take on complex problems and gain insight into the strategic and operational issues at the forefront of the minds of the leadership team.

The ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a variety of teams and personalities is critical, and you should be an expert in all areas of program development and execution including: project management, business analysis, problem solving, consensus building and people development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a data-driven People Operations organization
  • Formulate and execute a people-first growth strategy, including: recruiting, diversity and inclusion, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, retention and culture initiatives, with some oversight on compensation, benefits and compliance
  • Work cross-functionally to structure problems, analyze opportunities and develop solutions and actionable recommendations and results through a rigorous, data-driven process
  • Uncover areas to drive performance improvements to unlock productivity, efficiency and overall satisfaction
  • Regularly meet with department heads and people managers to understand functional and business goals and provide insight, innovative solutions and best practices to help drive performance and growth
  • Be a key team-building leader and people manager: someone people look to for guidance on a range of personal and professional challenges and questions
  • Establish scalable solutions empowering Ingenio’s leaders to be better managers and develop programs that prepare high-potential employees for their next role
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the executive leadership team; Develop strong working relationships across the organization
  • Build a work environment that promotes Ingenio’s values and culture
  • Partner with Human Resources and Finance to act as back up for Payroll Processing and other Human Resources matters

 

Requirements

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Experience scaling the People Operations function within an organization
  • Strategic thinker with proven ability to build scalable systems and processes
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in a strategic and concise fashion
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with experience building rapport and trust across departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Exceptional people skills; Ability to engage and influence people across teams
  • Embodies trust. Must have high ethical standards and ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Champions diversity of team, thought, and opinion
  • 5 years related work experience
  • Human Resources and/or Payroll experience a plus
  • Proficient user of Micosoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters degree preferred
