CDM Smith is seeking a Manager, Human Resources Operations to join our Corporate Human Resources team. The Senior Manager, Human Resource Operations, reporting to the Vice President, Director of Human Resources Operations, plans and directs HR operations, projects/programs, and teams related to improving process and efficiency of operations. Other responsibilities include:

•Leads and manages a team of Human Resources (HR) professionals in the management and administration of HR operations and programs (e.g., onboarding, background check, relocation, immigration, leaves, mobilization and demobilization, and other programs as assigned), recruitment support, and travel visas.

•Plans and organizes projects, functions and assignments.

•Plans projects related to improving process and efficiency of operations.

•Leads business requirement and specification development for both existing and new projects with HR stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of expectations and outcomes.

•Prepares and executes implementation plans, including creating appropriate teams to reach goals with detailed outlines of scope, schedules, and budgets.

•Directs onboarding, immigration, leaves, relocation and background check programs and other programs as assigned and all activities related to recruitment support.

•Provides guidance to staff members.

•Defines areas for improvement by monitoring all applicable regulations and gaining a full understanding of changes and the impact on the company.

•Identifies changing business needs and monitors best practices and new vendor services. Manages vendor relationships and determines when a new vendor search should be initiated. •Coaches and develops assigned team members. Monitors staff workloads and provides team resources needed to ensure delivery of a high-quality outcome to complete their jobs. •Completes performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback of performance to direct reports and provides input into their reviews as requested.

•Collaborates with manager to drive a high-performance culture and work on enhancing people and business-related strategies.

•Manages the day to day activity of staff.

•Provides feedback on performance appraisals.

•Manages the development and training of staff.

•Approves timesheets, paid time requests (PTO), and ensures human resources policies are followed.

•Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications :

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources, psychology or related discipline.

Experience: 8 years of related experience.

Travel: Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.

• Ability to manage project teams developing new procedures.

• Ability to work across business units and geographies.

• Strong leadership, business acumen, judgment, and networking skill.

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

• Ability to work autonomously and to collaborate fully as a team player.

• Ability to manage multiple and often conflicting priorities and work deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

• Competency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bilingual in Spanish, highly preferred.
