Job Summary

This position is responsible for the design, development and delivery of a variety of training courses, programs, and initiatives throughout CAP Tulsa. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality staff training through effective needs assessments, course design and delivery, course evaluation, training resource materials, and recursive learning reinforcement. Makes non-routine choices within established precedent, considering objectives, under limited supervision. Performs advanced troubleshooting or analysis; uses judgment to select from multiple known alternatives. Frequent interaction to provide detailed procedural explanations or technical responses and/or occasional contact to negotiate basic agreements.
 
Responsibilities/Essential Functions

·Create and provide various trainings to staff, both in face-to-face and e-learning formats. In collaboration with L&P Manager and Director, and other agency leaders, help identify and deliver training solutions that can address known issues and optimize team performance. Use data from needs assessments, employee surveys, aggregated performance data, and other available instruments to recommend effective training design and delivery in order to meet identified needs.
·Coordinate and facilitate the agency’s new employee orientation (NEO) and manager orientation programs in addition to creating, providing, and measuring additional staff training at and for all levels of the organization. Evaluate opportunities for blended leaning approaches and implement as necessary. Schedule training locations, ensure proper set-up for NEO and other trainings. Help schedule training locations and broker receipt of services from additional outside trainers (as necessary). Work with ECP, Purchasing, Marketing, and other stakeholders to plan, prepare for, and implement large training events (such as Pre-Service).
·Contribute to measuring return on investment (ROI) of agency learning activities. Help measure the effectiveness of training courses/initiatives. Administer evaluations, surveys and assessment tools; synthesize and compile data reports.
·Craft training program agendas, course announcements and materials, maintain and promote CAP course catalog and training calendar. Develop training materials for both facilitated and eLearning courses.
·Respond effectively to training requests from agency staff. Respond to employee requests about transcripts, training records, enrollment, training calendar, enrolling/un-enrolling in courses. Help enter, track, and manage course enrollment data.
·Provide redundancy on LMS tasks in Cornerstone. 
·Keep abreast of best practices; integrate that knowledge into learning and performance effort.
·Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
 

Requirements

Required Education/Experience

·Bachelors Degree, preferably in Organizational Development or related field. 
·One to three years of related work experience with emphasis on designing, developing, and facilitating adult learning programs and related organization development initiatives. 
·Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as required to design and develop learning materials. Familiarity with LMS helpful. 
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

·Must have proven successful interpersonal relationship skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working relationships with intra-department and inter-department staff, vendors, clients, visitors, and contractors.  
·Ability to follow oral and written instructions with ability to read, interpret, and present information efficiently and effectively. 
·Must be able to accurately audit records and ensure compliance with written or oral guidelines.  
·Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure.  
·Must maintain strict confidentiality of extremely sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc.  Intermediate- MS Office skills
·Excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to completing assignments on a timely basis.  
 
Essential Physical & Mental Requirements

Employee is subject to standing, stooping, walking, lifting, and carrying objects throughout daily job performance.  Work is a normal office environment. Intermittent effort involving lifting of amounts between 5 and 25 pounds required.  Work requires moderate attention to detail and deadlines between 15% and 45% of the time. Driving is required intermittent.
