The Learning and Development Partner aligned to Marketing is responsible for ensuring sustained learning transfer of all product offerings at Collette to our group leader and agent communities executed through strong partnership with the marketing, product and sales teams. The Learning Partner will be responsible for the conceptualization and the delivery of highly valuable content that drives revenue ensuring diversity of products sold.  Reporting to the Director of Organizational Learning and Development, the Learning Partner will play a key role in driving a consistent learning experience across agent and group leader footprint. The Learning Partner will drive holistic learning solutions, driving results through others while understanding Collette’s current and future demographic.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as consultant to the marketing business assessing needs and conceptualizing and delivering highly engaging and valuable learning to group leaders and agents. (insight into product offering and brands)

  • Liaise with marketing to drive learning to agents and partners through creative delivery methods. Manage learning needs for agent communities.(right content created and delivered to right audience)

  • Provide thought leadership of effective and creative learning solutions aimed at deepening product knowledge.  Analyze, identify, define, execute and measure the effectiveness of learning across constituent groups. 

  • Anticipate new learning needs based on known gaps, as well as, forecast gaps that are not yet known to proactively deliver solutions. 

  • Create, design, develop and maintain eLearning modules and MicroLearning. Incorporate eLearning/MicroLearning with instructor led and hands on training to achieve the best results with a blended solution.

  • Focus on digital learning solutions and gamification strategies to solve for knowledge requirements. 

  • Regularly analyze agent/group leader learning plans to align forecasting and measurement of progress.

  • Collaborate with Human Resources and learning team to innovate creative learning solutions and evaluate learning impact.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, Organizational Effectiveness, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years as a Learning Professional or Trainer. Prior experience partnering with marketing product development, and/or sales teams a plus. 

  • Strong understanding of digital functionality and how content is best utilized to communicate information, etc.

  • Demonstrated strategic agility. Proven record with strategy creation and execution.

  • Track record of success in learning development, innovative thinking and collaborating with others. 

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Results focused and action oriented. 

  • Interpersonal savvy and creativity, with the ability to champion and execute market-oriented new and innovative approaches, ideas, methods, processes, products and services.

  • Ability to influence internally and externally and act as change agent introducing new ways of learning for generational differences.
