Description

A successful digital marketing and services organization is searching for a highly capable Human Resources professional to build and lead all HR functions. This very dynamic and relatively young company is trusted by its customers, is financially secure and is committed to growth in the business. Someone who enjoys building processes for efficiency, delivers with excellence, has experience in scaling an organization, and desires an opportunity to lead across several HR functions can excel as part of this team. 

The Vice President, HR will have responsibilities for organizational development, employee relations, recruiting and compensation & benefits. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in these areas, preferably with a growth company.  He / she will build systems that continue to enhance the positive employee experience that currently exists while increasing the value of employee contributions designed to best serve the customers. A Bachelor’s degree is required and HR certification is preferred.

 Location expectations:

  • Current - 100% remote for all employees
  • Future – Some office time will be required with flexibility for some remote work
  • Preference will be for the VP, HR to live and work in the Dallas area. Other locations within the contiguous U.S. may be considered. 
  • Approximately 5% travel is expected if the individual works from Dallas 


Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Management preferred

  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience that includes a combination of employee relations, compensation and benefits, recruiting and organizational development; prior work experience in a start-up environment or creative services company very desirable.

  • Specific Skills: Must be proficient with MS Office, (or Apple / IOs equivalent) other regular office equipment and online tools

  • Certification: HR Certification preferred (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM- SCP).

  • Ability to travel approximately 5%

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
