Human Resources Specialist 3

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist 3 (HRS 3). The selected candidate will possess strong communication skills and be responsible for administration and support of the University's various talent management and development programs and policies. The Specialist will be supporting University goals by facilitating the effective design and delivery of quality learning programs that attract, retain and develop a diverse high performing workforce. This individual will be accountable for coordinating professional development activities, including working with learning partners, overseeing logistics, administrating needs assessments to clients, managing the leadership and executive coaching curricula, and supervising the requested program design and delivery. The selected individual will need to be a subject matter expert in the field of talent management and development; and support strategic and operational human resources functional areas such as HR Strategic Partners (HRSP), HR Consultants (HRC) and the Talent, Diversity, & Inclusion Center of Expertise (COE). Primary responsibilities will include: support of performance management strategies, systems and processes; while regularly collaborating with instructional designers to develop and design required programs; and deliver and interpret assessments such as DiSC, and MBTI. Duties also include delivering learning on change management practices and principals, as needed, to individuals or as part of established curriculum. The selected candidate will leverage the full array of talent management practices, programs, procedures, tools and templates; while coordinating the learning partner and vendor programs; to ensure appropriate application of copyright, and accessibility guidelines. The Human Resources Specialist 3, will collaborate with Talent Associates and other areas on related compliance programs; while staying current with talent management challenges, practices and trends, incorporating those changes into program designs as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four (4) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to lead project teams, prepare proposals, develop and deliver training and development programs for diverse populations. Experience interacting and/ or serving as a primary interface for systems administration, vendor interface, and coordination of multiple resources within talent management division. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree and 10 (ten) years of experience in the field of talent management and development preferred. Ability to deliver and interpret both DiSC, MBTI and other personality assessments. Experience and ability to expertly partner with management to provide consulting, training, and development services to grow workforce competence, employee wellness, and build organizational capability. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding
