Permobil Seating & Positioning has an immediate opening for an experienced, energetic, and solutions-oriented human resources manager based at our world-class manufacturing facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. This highly visible position works with our team of passionate individuals who are committed to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide human resources leadership for manufacturing facilities based in Salt Lake City, UT and Sacramento, CA; serve as a strategic and tactical business partner to the leadership team; implement and administer company human resources policies and programs for non-union facilities.
  • Manage processes related to full life-cycle recruitment, including evaluation, sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding.
  • Communicate and ensure understanding of company policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of human resource development efforts such as performance management, coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and organizational development activities.
  • Participate in and complete corporate-wide projects and initiatives.
  • Plan and organize employee events, e.g. Employee Appreciation Day, holiday party, recognition, etc.
  • Work closely with the vice president of human resources to provide strategic HR leadership.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field. PHR / SPHR certification or SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.


Experience: A minimum of three years of direct human resources experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Must include experience in HR management, recruitment, and employee relations. Experience providing HR support to California-based employees preferred. Experience with ADP preferred.
