The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the overall provision of Human Resources services and duties and works closely with PayLink Direct management team supporting the overall mission of the organization. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll & timekeeping, employee relations, performance management, employment law compliance and administrative activities.


Assist in recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, performing reference checks, telephone interviews and background checks

  • Conduct onboarding of newly hired employees, prepare and process offer letters, new hire paperwork and agreements, as needed
  • Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll and administration of related payroll records within ADP system
  • Coordinate health, life and disability insurance enrollments and communicates with service providers and 3rd party administrator concerning routine administration. Reconcile/validate data entry to ensure data integrity and support routine reporting requests. This includes preparing monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Maintain employee files – electronic and written. Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes and completing personnel transactions in a timely fashion
  • Manages relationships and coordinates efforts for temporary staff with 3rd party agencies
  • Maintain listing of approved positions along with assigned salary grade levels and current job descriptions. Coordinate and administer performance review process.
  •  Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Supports and coordinates initiatives and activities for employee and manager training
  • May support company-sponsored employee events as directed
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned




  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with ADP, a plus
  • Computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Must have high initiative, integrity, strong work ethic, good communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able and willing to work well in a diverse environment
  • SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR certification preferred
