What is Nasuni?

Nasuni is the new way for enterprises to store, backup, and share files. We built the first global file system based in the cloud, so we scale without the limits of legacy device-based file systems from Dell-EMC and NetApp. Our file services platform enhances cross-site collaboration and accelerates business growth, plus it saves our enterprise customers 60% compared to the cost of separate on-premises NAS, backup, archive, replication, and DR infrastructure.

The Position
The HR manager will be responsible for administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. This person would be responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are consistently administered, aligned with the organization goals and are in compliance with  standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws. This person in tandem with the VP, HR will recommend new approaches to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

As the HR Manager you will focus on strategy, advising, and compliance in the following ways...

Strategy:

  • Conduct employee facing surveys such as 90-day employment survey, exit interviews and other face-to-face surveys as developed.
  • Create analysis reports to monitor data including turnover rates, equal opportunities information, health and safety issues and trends, etc.
  • Drive the HR strategy in support of short and long-term business goals by building partnerships and alliances throughout the organization.
  • Ability to take ideas and convert them to action, influence others, work harmoniously with broad range of internal and external talent and vendors, analyze work force, and work with VP, HR and Management on succession plans and career development.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Advisor:

  • Provide a full range of HR consulting services and problem solving including employee relations; compensation and rewards; organizational design and development, EEO/AA, talent acquisition, and performance management.
  • Provides managers with guidance and interpretation of corporate policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Advise managers with regard to corporate guidance on staffing structures, job design, and provide guidance on the processes involved; Assist line managers and Talent Acquisition Manager in all aspects of offer letters, employee contract production, employment checks, employee benefits and induction processes, ensuring that Nasuni’s policy, statutory and best practice requirements are satisfied.

Compliance / Administration: 

  • Oversee and manage documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, taxes, comp etc.
  • Manage timely introductions of new or revised policy and process issues, including delivery of local workshops, ensuring that line managers are appropriately equipped and supported.
  • Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures; Oversee and perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness, information activities program and cash flow.
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations, workers compensation, OSHA Compliance, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Manage local areas of legal compliance, such as employment tribunal applications or personal injury/liability claims – in liaison with both internal and external parties, including solicitors.
  • Oversee HRIS implementation and rollout.
  • Immigration administration.
  • Support to international colleagues and assist with employment/employee matters (benefits, compliance, communication).

Requirements

Required skills + experience we look for are…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant HR generalist experience.
  • Demonstrable strong business acumen.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications including MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • HRIS experience.
  • Must be able to build/maintain spreadsheets, data gathering etc.
