Dev Technology Group is seeking an experienced and professional Human Resources Generalist to support administration of all aspects of Human Resources for the company. Meeting the needs of employees and managers in achieving their goals and objectives while ensuring fairness and compliance is key. The Human Resources Generalist works with the Director of Human Resources to maintain effective programs for employee morale and retention, performance, training, benefits, HR administration, Affirmative Action, and compliance activities.

Listed below are some of the responsibilities associated with this position:

  • Conduct and support effective employee on-boarding process and new employee orientation program including: creating new employee packets to provide during orientation, processing and entering onboarding paperwork into systems, scheduling and meeting with new employees for corporate orientations
  • Manage and administer all company benefits to include: life and disability insurance, 401k, health insurance, COBRA, and worker’s compensation, including maintaining and updating data in all benefit platforms (Kelly, Ascensus, ADP WFN, Optum, etc.)
  • Support Director of Human Resources in Request for Offer process and create and/or provide offer letters and other written correspondence to provide to Hiring Managers
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate and HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate exit interview process and effective out-boarding process
  • Support and train supervisors to facilitate communication and ensure fair, responsive, and equitable experience for employees in accordance with the company’s established policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state mandated requirements as well as completing all required reporting related to EEO-1, VETS100, Affirmative Action, etc.
  • Field general employee questions and connect with appropriate managers and specialists as needed
  • Perform payroll/benefit related support
  • Lead and plan employee related events (all staff meetings, benefit briefings, etc.)
  • Partner with Director of Human Resources to monitor employee retention and morale, supporting and executing initiatives that maintain and improve upon current culture of meeting and exceeding employee expectations
  • Provide HR metrics to HR Director and senior leadership
  • Manage Recordkeeping
  • Proactively handle administrative work. Follow-through on tasks, filing, tracking, signatures, materials preparation and dissemination, reports, mail, supplies, requisition/invoice. Create written documents (emails, letters, reports, outlines, PowerPoint slides)
  • Maintain and update HR data in ADP Workforce Now. Maintain employee, benefit, and payroll files.
  • Review compensation to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity

Requirements

Required and Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years working in human resources
  • Must have broad experience to include solid experience with HRIS administration, benefits management, employee relations, compensation and policy development
  • Must be proficient with various computer software including Microsoft Office, HR & payroll system, strong spreadsheet experience and presentation software
  • Demonstrated ability with attention to detail, high degree of professionalism and confidentiality, logical and strategic thinking; excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have negotiation skills in working with vendors as well as serving as liaison between employees and managers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be organized, creative and have the ability to work independently as well as with others, and be able to work well under pressure
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • General understanding of IT field
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Recruiting experience a plus

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • SHRM, CP or SHRM, PHR preferred
