In this position, you will work with the HR team to provide human resources support in a fast paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • You will be responsible for the recruiting process from beginning to end, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing, hiring, onboarding new employees, orientation and training.
  • You will be creative and proactive in sourcing talent through internal and external relationships, networking, social media, referrals and job boards.
  • You will partner with company managers to determine requirements for available positions.
  • You will develop HR branding to attract new talent.
  • You will develop and maintain professional relationships with colleges and university placement offices as a source for qualified applicants.
  • You will participate with the HR team in performing the duties of a HR Generalist, including but not limited to implementing HR policies, employee engagement, maintaining all personnel files, conducting background checks, employee relations matters, employee disciplinary matters, compliance with all federal, state and city laws, unemployment insurance matters, performance management, workers compensation claims, administration of benefits and reports.

Who You Are

  • You have worked in Human Resources for a hospitality business.
  • You have 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, in a combination of the Human Resources Generalist and recruiting roles.
  • You have a bachelors’ degree.
  • You value working in a collaborative team environment.
  • You possess excellent organizational skill and attention to detail.
  • You have excellent judgment and demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and create alternative solutions in a fast pace environment.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have knowledge of city, state and federal regulations pertaining to Human Resources
  • You are facile with Microsoft Excel and Word.
