Today, JBT Corporation’s AeroTech Division is a world leader in the supply of airport equipment and services focused on the future.  At our Orlando, Florida facility we manufacture airport ground support equipment, including aircraft deicers, aircraft tow tractors, cargo loaders and transporters. 

 

The Human Resource Coordinator will assist the Human Resources Manager in the areas of benefits administration, recruiting and staffing, employee relations and policy administration.

 

Specific duties include:

  • Ensure accurate job descriptions exist for each job recruited
  • Assist in searches for candidates who possess all minimum qualifications of the job
  • Complete new hire orientation according to human resources procedures
  • Review job descriptions for accuracy, appropriate MRA’s and candidate requirements
  • Maintain hiring records and affirmative action plan to ensure compliance with federal/state EEO Guidelines
  • Coordinate and execute recruiting fairs onsite and at local colleges
  • Ensure that corporate and local policies are administered consistently throughout the division and are available to all employs upon request
  • Ensure Worker Compensation, Short Term Disability, Unemployment Compensation and ADA are administered consistently throughout the Division and regulatory standards are adhered to
  • Assist with litigation and case management as it pertains to WC, STD, UC, ADA and other legal issues
  • Provide accurate and timely information for the annual AAP
  • Maintain hiring records and affirmative action plan to ensure compliance with federal/state EEO Guidelines
  • Set up personnel files on new employees
  • Assist payroll coordinator in resolving pay issues
  • Maintain employee database and all HR systems
  • Post all job openings according to posting policy guidelines
  • On-going maintenance of AAP log for division hires, terminations, promotions, layoffs
  • Coordinate open enrollment for new benefits
  • Provide project support to the Global HR Director as requested
  • Participate in Corporate and/or AeroTech-specific projects
  • Participate in various continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate Service Awards dinners
  • Facilitate the efforts of the Employee Activity Committee
  • Coordinate outreach events to promote JBT in the community
  • Meet all monthly safety requirements as established by the HSE Department
  • Attend all required site Safety Training sessions or complete and submit make-up materials to HSE
  • Comply with all JBT safety policies and guidelines
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion

Travel: Limited (less than 10%)

 

Work Environment- Office environment with exposure to Manufacturing floor

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field required

At least one year of experience in a human resources department of a large company.   

  • Ability to evaluate and resolve problems independently.
  • Above average communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office products.

 

Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):  Stay current with new technology as it relates to telephones and computers
