Description

Accudata Systems has a terrific opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for administering new hire processes, employee on-boarding, benefits & payroll administration, maintaining employee files, assist with managing internal employee events, termination processes, and tactical HR operational procedures.

 Essential Functions:

  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations in all systems including HRIS (ADP).
  • Serves as initial point of contact for employee questions and concerns about HR topics such as benefits, payroll, company policies, time off, etc.
  • Processes bi-weekly payroll including required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, disability, and FMLA.
  • Respond to 401(k) inquiries from employees relating to enrollments, plan changes, and contribution amounts. Manage the employer discretionary match.
  • Own the annual reporting requirements with external vendors and various government agencies, such as the 401(K) audit, non-discrimination testing, Affordable Care Act, 5500 filling, EEO-1, Reverify, etc.
  • Monitor compliance with EEOC, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and ACA. Advise managers on organizational compliance and recommend needed changes.
  • Establish and maintain department records. Maintain company organization charts, employee directory and order business cards.
  • Responsible for administration of attendance program.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. 
  • Assists with new employee background checks.
  • Reconciles benefits statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of the compensation reviews.
  • Respond to verification of employment requests.
  • Conduct new hire on-boarding activities.
  • Assist HR team on company culture initiates and special projects.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • SHRM-CP Preferred.
  • Strong computer skills; must have intermediate Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Must have experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle employee matters with a high degree of professionalism.
