Location: Bethesda, MD

Brivo, the original innovator of cloud-based physical security solutions, is currently recruiting for a highly organized, self-starter to join our Human Resources (HR) team as a Coordinator. The HR Coordinator will undertake a wide range of HR responsibilities, like recruiting new Brivo-ites, onboarding new them, and answering any questions they have along the way. This is an instrumental role in maintaining a highly efficient HR department and is responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks and processes which enhance the HR team's function.

  • Assist Senior Recruiter with full life-cycle recruiting of non-technical positions
  • Onboard new Brivo employees, which includes, but is not limited to: sending welcome communications to newly hired employees in preparation for their first day; organizing new hire orientation and Day 1 and Week 1 activities; and ensuring new hire documents are completed in compliance with federal/state regulations and company policies
  • Process new hires and employee changes (e.g. status and salary changes, promotions, terminations, etc.) in ADP
  • Administer all benefit programs provided by Brivo including, but not limited to, medical, dental, leaves of absences, disability, retirement, COBRA, and worker's compensation
  • Ensure employees are aware of, and able to fully utilize, Brivo benefit offerings and changes through employee communications
  • Assist employees with claims resolution and advise on benefit offerings (i.e. explaining benefit-related policies, procedures, and regulations)
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment, wellness programs, fairs, employee engagement events, and meetings with vendors
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations relative to employment and mandated benefits
  • Support and implement various HR programs and initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
  • Minimum of two years of relevant HR experience
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with ADP WorkForce Now preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Demonstrated ability to be both self-directed and collaborative
