Position Description

 

This team-oriented, flexible, and creative strategist will be a critical partner to the business.  The HR Business Partner will act as a consultant, and change agent, assessing and anticipating HR-related needs. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the organization to deliver value added service tomanagement and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

 

The HRBP will:

  • Influence and help create a strong global HR organization with a focus on world class employee service.

  • Work closely with various levels of management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, & increase productivity and retention.

  • Help to support and maintain the values, mission and goals of the organization.

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including performing related investigations if necessary.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, corrective actions, etc).

  • Provide guidance and input on client group restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.

  • Works closely with global HR team internally related to recruitment, retention, HR systems, immigration, M&A, divestitures as business dictates. 

  • Assist Managers with Identifying training needs for client groups.

  • Work with the global HR team to analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.

  • May assist with international HRBP support.

 

Requirements

 

  • Ideal Candidates:

  • Will possess an undergraduate or graduate degree in   HR Management or Business

    Administration with an emphasis in HR. Candidates with non-HR related degrees and equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • PHR/SPHR certification recognized.

  • Will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a progressive Human Resources function that includes supporting multiple levels of management in a fast-paced work environment and resolving complex employee relations issues.Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, federal and multi-state employment laws a must.

  • Will have experience working in the technology and/or communications industries.

  • Demonstrated ability to assist with recruiting.

  • Proven ability to engage, inspire, and influence people at all levels in the organization.

  • Will possess strong conflict management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.

  • Familiarity with Oracle and all modules of Cornerstone/LinkedIn Learning, SharePoint and ADP a plus.

  • Be willing to travel 1-4 x year domestically and internationally.

  • Moderate Windows programs knowledge, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
