The Human Resources Business Partner is a critical and integral part of the HR team.  In this client facing role, the HRBP works closely with supervisors and managers to provide high-level HR guidance and leadership as it pertains to talent management and aligning with corporate objectives. Serving as a strategic advisor on personnel related issues, the HRBP will have the opportunity to provide a personal touch in the evaluation of HR needs by building strong partnerships throughout the organization and ensuring the delivery of value-added service across the board.

  • Coaching: You will coach employees on matters including: employee concerns, performance, performance improvement plans (PIP), training and development, advancement etc. You will coach company leaders on matters including: employee concerns, management of performance issues, recognition programs, and exit strategies.
  • Advising: You will advise on workforce and career planning and provide HR guidance, interpretation, and direction to those in supervisory roles. You will also provide guidance regarding legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, consultants, and interns, reducing risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Researching: You will identify process improvement possibilities and participate in improvement efforts, sharing best practices, and ideas across practices. You will also analyze employment practices (e.g. turnover, onboarding, engagement, etc.), prepare trend reports, analyze surveys, and make development recommendations.
  • Networking: You will cultivate strong relationships with department managers and supervisors to provide HR guidance and support around key initiatives such as corporate culture, compliance, talent management, etc.
  • Managing: You will identify, develop, execute, and manage programs around competency-building through training programs across the organization. You will also develop, execute, and manage initiatives around: performance management, coaching, new hire on-boarding, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Organizational Psychology
  • Master’s Degree in HR *preferred
  • Five plus (5+) years of broad-based HR experience
  • Self-starter with a can-do, collaborative, team-oriented demeanor
  • Proficiency in standard office software, e.g. Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills; highly organized and able to work effectively on multiple projects/project types
  • Strong ability to frame issues and solutions quickly and concisely
  • Effective at building credibility quickly and maintaining relationships with clients, employees and HR partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external audiences
  • Solutions-oriented, taking initiative to formulate executable approaches to company challenges/opportunities and express recommendations cogently to management and colleagues
  • Demonstrated business acumen, ethical practice, and global and cultural awareness
