Metro Community Provider Network (MCPN) is a 501(c) (3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a 28-yyear history of providing primary care and other health-related services in a community-based setting. Established in 1989 in response to the primary health care needs of the medically indigent population in suburban Denver, MCPN has the largest population base of any FQHC in Colorado and provides primary care, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, health education and outreach and enrollment services in accordance with its mission.

In order to maintain a positive work culture and ensure compliance with all local, state and federal employment laws, the HRBP provides support in a multitude of HR areas.
The selected applicant will apply knowledge of human resource principles and practices, including federal and state laws and regulations applicable to work. They will be responsible for administration of benefit programs and vendors including enrollment, invoicing, changes, open enrollment and claims resolution. The successfully chosen candidate will respond to and follow up on employee questions and complete OSHA first report of injury, tracking and notifications. They will participate on the Safety and Wellness Committee and participates in initiatives. Additionally, they will manage daily Workers Compensation activities and claims. And will be responsible for tracking annual immunizations, PPD and Influenza. They will perform Ergonomic Assessments, provides recommendations. The successfully chosen candidate will prepare monthly Organizational chart updates and will coordinate and/or present in monthly and bi-monthly new hire onboarding programs to include payroll and benefit presentations.  They will handle high volume of HRIS transactions daily, e.g. employee data changes, requires knowledge of payroll and allocation accounting. The successfully chosen candidate will also participate with annual benefit renewal planning and will be responsible for planning and logistics for the annual open enrollment meeting/s.

Education or Formal Training
High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree  preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP desirable.

Experience:
5 years progressive Human resources experience.
** A valid driver’s license will be required for any position requiring driving between MCPN locations.
