Human Resources Analyst

South Jordan, UT

We have an immediate opening in our South Jordan, UT office for a Human Resources Analyst.

If you are a versatile, organized professional who enjoys analyzing data and developing solutions; if you have a passion for detail and accuracy; if you have the willingness to enthusiastically work within changing priorities and want to join a great Company, we’re looking for a Human Resources Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex, professional, and technical analysis related to benefits, compensation, budgets, leaves of absence, workers compensation compliance, and corporate insurance. This position requires three to five years of experience in Corporate HR. A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field is preferred. Experience in human capital metrics and/or analytics, finance, accounting, benefits/compensation and budgets is desired.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following knowledge and abilities beyond the minimum qualifications:

Analytical Thinking - Approaches a problem or situation by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach. Analyze situations, identify problems and recommend solutions.

Communication Skills - Effectively conveys information and expresses thoughts and facts clearly, orally and in writing; demonstrates effective use of listening skills; displays openness to other people's ideas and thoughts.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel including advanced formulas and pivot tables

Prepare comprehensive reports and correspondence

Demonstrates the ability to anticipate customers' needs and deliver services effectively and efficiently using professional demeanor.

Initiative - Exhibits resourceful behaviors toward meeting job objectives; anticipates problems, is proactive, and avoids difficulties by planning; displays willingness to assume extra responsibility and challenges; pursues continuing education opportunities that promotes job performance

Multi-Tasking - Can handle multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously; has handled a wide variety of assignments in past and/or current position(s).

Teamwork & Interpersonal Skills - Develops effective relationships with co-workers and supervisors by helping others accomplish tasks and using collaboration and conflict resolution skills.

Handling of highly confidential information

Exercise judgment and creativity in making conclusions and recommendations

Understand, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, contracts, budgets, and labor/management agreements
