We are seeking a highly competent, self-directed, and versatile HR Manager who brings substantial knowledge in recruiting within the federal government contracting space. In addition, this HR professional will be the point-person for a wide range of HR Generalist duties including Benefits, Onboarding, Employee Relations, and Talent Development. 


Job Responsibilities:

·        Overseeing the recruiting, onboarding, and pre-screening of candidate process.

·        Overseeing and assisting with multi-state payroll processing and timekeeping system.

·        Creating offer letters and new hire packets and scheduling of new hire orientation.

·        Overseeing the maintenance of employee files.

·        Analyzing data and tracking employee information.

·        Reconciling benefits with invoices from providers; maintaining benefits system for accuracy and updating for eligibility.

·        Administrative duties; collaborating with project/program managers.

·        Compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, performance evaluations, and turnover rates.

·        Serve as point of contact for Workers Compensation (i.e. employee training, claim processing and record maintenance) and FMLA.

·        Develop, implement and communicate HR programs, policies and employee guidelines to achieve goals and fulfill legal requirements. Ensure consistency across the organization with all programs. Analyze the effectiveness of current HR programs and processes and update as required.

·        Manage and coordinate the staffing process by partnering with the business groups to identify workforce needs and develop sourcing strategies to hire qualified and highly talented employees for our organization.

·        EEO-1 and VETS 4212 reporting and tracking.

·        Special projects, as needed.

·        Responsible for maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality in all aspects of job performance.

Essential Skills: 

·        Strong working knowledge of processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees.

·        Analytical with a strong attention to detail.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive employee information.

·        Good problem-solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions.

·        Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments in the organization

·        Ability to meet deadlines.

·        Ability to work independently and objectively.

Salary range DOE: 60-65k

Requirements

Targeted candidate will possess a related degree and 3+ years in corporate recruiting, as well as experience to other noted HR duties including Benefits, Onboarding, Employee Relations, Payroll.  

·        College degree or demonstrated equivalent in experience

·        PHR Certification or SHRM-CP Certification

·        Minimum of 3 years in a Human Resources role and supervisory experience.

·        Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

·        Knowledge and understanding of multi-state employment laws, human resources theory, practices and legal requirements to act as a subject matter expert to business groups.

·        Skills in communication, both verbal and written to effectively communicate HR programs, provide training, resolve employee relations issues as well as work with business groups on their strategic objectives. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize time/workload in order to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.

·        Knowledge and understanding of OFCCP and Affirmative Action Plan requirements preferred.
