Human Resources Manager

HR Manager position available for a manufacturing and distribution operation in upstate New York. Will be responsible for recruitment (including developing and executing successful recruiting strategies), benefits administration, and training (employees and managers) and will oversee payroll. Most importantly, the HR manager will focus on and facilitate employee relations programs – providing opportunities for employees to be engaged and that the company is seen as an employer of choice. The successful candidate will be tasked with looking at opportunities for improvements in all of the human resource functions.

Requirements

The HR Manager must be an effective communicator, a skilled multi-tasker, a problem-solver, and a coach. The company is looking for a creative, initiative-focused human resource professional to help them become even more successful. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and have a minimum of six years exempt HR generalist experience in a non-union manufacturing and distribution operation. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
