Recruiting and Onboarding

  • Maintains, fosters and administers CCM’s recruiting program, policies, procedures, processes, and documentation.
  • Regularly provides reports to senior leadership regarding CCM’s recruiting
  • Identifies and implements various options in outreach for candidates, including and not limited to developing networks of employer resource services, regularly discussing needs with community and industry influencers, direct sourcing and use of social media.
  • Creates and maintains up-to-date job descriptions and requirements for all roles and colleagues.
  • Schedules and conducts interviews, maintains interview documentation, and works with hiring supervisors to evaluate and select top talent.
  • Drafts all end-to-end human capital correspondence from onboarding to exit from the firm.
  • Regularly collaborates with senior leadership to proactively assess and respond to staffing needs on an on-going basis.
  • Maintains, administers, and regularly enhances the effectiveness of the end-to-end new colleague onboarding process.
  • Regularly collaborates with the President and hiring supervisors to creatively craft total reward packages that attract top talent, while ensuring fiscal responsibility and adherence to CCM’s established budget.
  • Evaluates and recommends total compensation market packages, based on role responsibilities, desired outcomes, markets, and perceived impact on the firm.

 Colleague Relations and Coaching

  • Serves as a human capital informational resource to individual colleagues and teams, providing the most recent data and best practices in areas including and not limited to conflict management, behavioral coaching, performance counseling, regulatory requirements, and offensive behavior mitigation.
  • Regularly provides behavioral coaching and reinforcement to all roles and levels of colleagues, on all HR-related topics, upon request.
  • Consistently serves as the behavioral example of the highest and best display of CCM’s values, One Voice, Founders Mentality, and culture.
  • Regularly serves as the behavioral conduit between and across CCM’s operational units and physical locations, reinforcing consistency and productive displays of behavior.
  • Works as a liaison between senior leadership, functional supervisors, and individuals to resolve perceived colleague conflicts, and provide related coaching opportunities to colleagues within established regulatory boundaries and in alignment with industry best practices.

 HR Technology, Gallup, and ZAG

  • Maintains operational fluency in, “owns the space” of, administers, and maintains a best-in-class infrastructure of all HR and peripherally-related technologies including and not limited to BambooHR, EaseCentral, Paychex, and Mindflash LMS.
  • Responsible for the storage and integrity of all colleague data residing within the HRMS and in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Processes colleague-related transactions and data entry in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Serves as the primary resource for all Gallup-related structures, tools, information, technology, and processes. Regularly works to maintain CCM’s place as a best-in-class, strengths-based organization.
  • Facilitates and interprets the semi-annual Colleague Engagement Survey and assists in presenting at subsequent colleague debrief events.
  • Serves as CCM’s HR representative to the Zero Alpha Group, collaborating with peers, and serving on the ZAG HR committee.

 Total Rewards Administration

  • Regularly performs market benchmark analysis on all roles to ensure alignment with industry, CCM culture and broader market best practices.
  • Ensures internal equity by working with CCM leadership to validate spans of responsibility and alignment with industry compensation best practices.
  • Performs regular audits of leading market indicators of cost-of-living and cost-of-labor indices.
  • Works with the Chief Administrative Officer and Management Team to establish and administer the structure and processes of the short- and long-term incentive compensation plans (annual bonus).
  • Conducts the annual HR budgeting process and presents recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Works with external partners to annually evaluate the state of CCM’s healthcare and wellness landscape.
  • Administers and maintains the integrity of CCM’s annual goal-setting, performance management, and work plan/check-in processes.
  • Annually delivers multiple healthcare insurance compensation scenarios to senior leadership.
  • Conducts the annual healthcare benefits open enrollment process and serves as the primary resource for related colleague inquiries.
  • Administers CCM’s short- and long-term disability plans and processes.

Learning and Development

  • “Owns the space” of CCM’s colleague learning and professional development structure, plans, technology, and processes.
  • Administers and ensures the integrity of CCM’s Mindflash learning management system (LMS).
  • Performs regular audits of existing curriculum, ensuring best-in-class learning interventions for colleagues.
  • Works with colleagues (as users), technology team and supervisors to design and/or locate, input, and administer best-in-class curriculum.
  • Facilitates learning interventions, including meetings, and informal events, upon request.
  • Works with supervisors and individual contributors as a coach and guide in establishing developmental goals and measuring progress.

 Policy and Compliance Activities

  • Ensures that all CCM colleague employment plans and policies are accurate, up-to-date, and audited annually for regulatory compliance and representation of industry best practices.
  • Maintains and ensures accurate maintenance of all colleague records and transactional activities.
  • Ensures that all colleague-related structures, processes, and activities are established and conducted in accordance with applicable federal and state, legal and regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., EEO, ADA, OSHA, Fair Labor, etc.).
  • Maintains best-in-class professional and technical knowledge by regularly attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in related professional societies.
  • Serves as a regular member of CCM’s compliance committee.

Requirements

  • Liberal arts degree (preferred), or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field of study.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
  • A minimum of 5 years professional work experience, preferably within one or more HR-related fields.
  • Experience working in a financial services-related field is preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR or related certification is preferred and willingness to obtain certification is required.
  • Proven success and depth in the behavioral coaching of all levels of colleagues.
  • Proven experience and operational fluency among a minimum of four (4) of the following disciplines is required: Employee Relations, Total Rewards Administration, Benefits Administration, HR Technology, Performance Management, Change Management, Talent Assessment, Succession Planning, Recruiting, Learning Development and Facilitation.
  • Proven ability to successfully compose, evaluate, and edit common HR-related documentation.
  • Experience interfacing with and providing support to multiple organizational levels, including senior leadership.
  • Experience with behavioral assessment, preferably with Gallup methodologies, and a willingness to obtain relevant certification.
  • Technical acumen with HR information systems and technology platforms.
