Berger Transfer & Storage Inc is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as the Human Resource Director at our corporate office located in Roseville, MN!

The Human Resources Director guides and manages the overall Human Resources function of the entire company. This role acts as a strategic partner to the senior management team while reporting directly to the CFO. The HRD, as well as his/her support staff, is very much “hands-on” in interacting directly with local and branch managers to provide a service orientated HR function to the field.

Specific Responsibilities of this position include the oversight of:
  • Employee relations
  • Recruiting and retention
  • Policy development and administration
  • Benefits administration
  • Compliance
  • Compensation management
  • HR Staff Management
  • Other related tasks and opportunities as they may arise.

Requirements

A successful candidate will be able to meet the following qualifications and skills:

  • 10+ year’s generalist experience in a HR Management role at a Central/Corporate Office of a mid-sized organization.
  • 5+ years’ experience in managing support staff in a HR department
  • Multi-location/multi-state experience important
  • Graduate Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Professional Certification in Human Resources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in HRIS software, UltiPro knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
