Job Description: 

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for administering all employee benefit programs, overseeing the organization’s recruitment efforts, assisting with setting individual and corporate goals, and developing training programs for our employees and managers. This role will also help introduce employee enrichment and engagement opportunities.

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Coordinates and administers all employee benefits.
    • Insurance enrollment and termination
    • 401K enrollment
    • Short and Long-Term Disability
  • Ensures employees are informed of benefit election options and that they are enrolled in a timely manner.
  • Addresses benefit questions and problems that may arise for participants.
  • Maintains confidential employee records.
  • Recruits and on-board the best-qualified professionals.
    • Places employment ads.
    • Tracks all applicants through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Schedules and conduct interviews.
    • Schedules candidate skill testing when needed.
    • Completes reference checks.
    • Makes candidate job offer when approved.
    • Creates company announcements for the hired employee.
    • Completes onboarding processes for all new hires.
  • Creates hiring and termination packets as needed.
  • Contributes to the decisions made with the Executive Team as it pertains to personal risk management and adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Assists with the creation/revisions of policies, procedures, forms, job descriptions, and Employee Handbook.
    • Maintains a copy of Employee Handbook on Cascio’s Employee Benefits site.
    • Revises policies and procedures based on changing company needs and changing state and federal regulations.
    • Updates and maintains job descriptions for all positions.
  • Coordinates and maintains HR related 3rd Party Vendor Relations.
  • Develops and facilitates training programs.
    • Newly-hired employees
    • Newly-appointed managers
    • Helps manage all Cascio Music Company’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Human Resources.
  • Prior benefit administration experience preferred.
  • Keeps current with HR laws on both state and federal regulations to make best practice recommendations to the Executive HR Committee.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Internet Search Engines, and basic social media knowledge are required.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Dependable and hard-working individual.
  • Strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
  • Exhibits an enthusiastic and positive attitude in day-to-day activities.
  • Interacts with all customers in a respectful and courteous manner.
