Role and Responsibilities
Under direction from the SR. HR Manager - Benefits, Compensation and Systems, provides HR data system functions supporting Benefits, HRIS, Time and Attendance, and Compensation. Provides some wage/compensation support as assigned. Possesses significant computer and administrative skills. Performs internal system implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Navigates entries into external electronic systems. Maintains a high level of accuracy and strict confidentiality.
- Subject matter expert on the HR systems - navigating, administering, and troubleshooting all internal HRIS systems including iCON, Kronos and Applicant Tracking System.
- Responsible for implementation, training and front end maintenance to above systems.
- Explores the functionality of the existing HRIS platforms to identify processes that need improvement. Recommend process/customer service improvements and innovative solutions while ensuring that processes and procedures adhere to defined audit and internal controls. May be responsible for providing project management to implement the change.
- Participate in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades, patches or HR systems configuration projects and enhancements; collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of such changes and document processes, procedures and testing results accordingly.
- Develop and maintain queries and reports (standard, scheduled and/or ad hoc) to support business processes and to provide cross-functional departments with necessary HR data (i.e., associate reports, turnover reports, etc.) on a timely basis; work with functional end-users to define and specify requirements accordingly.
- Continuously builds knowledge and awareness of best practices and legal compliance in HRIS and internal policies & procedures.
- Ability to create presentations and present to groups, including leadership groups.
- Stays up to date on all applicable regulatory issues and serves as a legal compliance resource.
- Generate and file annual Government Reports (ACA, AAP, VETS42-12 & EEO1).
- Supports leaders with the use of timekeeping system including training, managing, and troubleshooting time and attendance issues.
- Performs and oversees data entry activities relating to promotional increases, performance reviews, and transfers.
- Assists with wage and compensation tasks as assigned such as preparing wage, equity, and promotion pro-formas.
- Frequent use of MQ1, Outlook, Microsoft Office, and other applicable systems.

- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Platforms
- Facilitates problem-solving teams and committees including HR Forums and CES Activities.
- Facilitates New Employee Orientation (NEO) sessions as assigned.

Cascade Enterprise System / Lean / Operational Excellence
- Help to deploy level 0 and 1 goals using Cascade Enterprise System
- Assist Operations to achieve Operational Excellence using a Lean/TPM (Cascade Enterprise System/ CES) method
- Help to establish a CES production and manufacturing method and measure to ensure a high quality and low cost process is utilized
- Support the on-going development and implementation of Lean/TPM (CES) in manufacturing, improving upon the standard KPI’s
Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must have extensive experience utilizing data entry systems.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Associates Degree with 5+ years experience and professional certificate or high school diploma/GED with professional certificate with 10+ years experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years related experience.
- Masters Degree with 2+ years’ experience.
Preferred Skills, Experience and core competency requirements:
- Kronos, iCON or HRIS software experience.
- Analytical problem solving skills.
- Professional certification or training in compensation (CEBS, SHRM, HRCI)
- Bachelor’s degree with a related certificate and a minimum of 5 years directly related HRIS experience
- Experience working with temporary employees and agencies
