The HR Technology Manager is a member of the Human Resources management team, partnering with Information Technology to implement technical solutions to meet business needs and delivering Human Resources data through effective and efficient solutions. Specifically, the role of the HR Technology managers is to: Maintain the integrity of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for the organization and monitor the workflow and audit for accuracy, security and efficient processing of requests; Supervise staff in support of the HRIS system; Provide Technical Support as needed to ensure any critical issues are resolved quickly; Work with the HR Management team to assess and prioritize requests, identify solution options, diagnose, and solve existing system and related business process issues; Develop positive relationships with various business functions such as Payroll, IT, Finance, and other business groups to ensure open communication regarding upcoming projects, resource requirements, and project participation; Analyze and evaluate business processes and recommend improvements that are aligned with best practices in Human Resources; Understand business processes and requirements to enable technology solutions to meet business challenges; Provides technical expertise on HR data and interface needs supporting projects, other technology, and other initiatives; Builds and adheres to project plans, tasks, and deliverables and identifies dependencies and resource requirements; Participate in efforts to identify and implement best practices and data standards and metrics for the Human Resources Department; Develop and maintain clear and complete documentation for all HR reports, stored procedures and custom tables; Work with IT to ensure comprehensive system testing is performed before release of new applications; Collaborate in planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications; Provide training and knowledge transfer to HR users to support efficient use of new business processes; Understand data privacy requirements and take all necessary steps to secure data; Identify and address cross-functional impacts of systems and process changes; Creates and maintains system documentation according to the IT methodology (proposals, designs, test specifications, and other deliverables as necessary) for new and existing applications; Coordinate and communicate the implementation of system changes, fixes and enhancements; Communicate all new self-serve applications to end users and coordinate any needed training; Stay up to date with the latest technology and offer recommendations based on that information.
