Position: HR Specialist Recruitment                                                    Salary: Negotiable

Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans. Develops and coordinates short and long term recruitment and staffing goals. Develops strategies that’s responsive to management needs; aggressively target unrepresented areas.


Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement office as a source to generate qualified applicants. Maintains contact with state, local, federal, military, and private employment and training organizations, advertising media, and other applicant sources.


Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling employment related fees. Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.

Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interview. May provide initial screening to obtain work, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.


Coordinates with travel coordinator to arrange travel and lodging for applicants. Provides information company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.

Conducts reference and background checks.


Develops and conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reducing turnover.


Researches, analyzes, prepares, and presents hiring and statistics. Maintain records on recruiting activities as required. Participates in development of annual recruiting budget.


Performs other related duties as assigned.


Your resume/application will be screened on the qualifications listed below.




1. Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of recruiting experience that would be equivalent to education.

2. Five years of Staffing/Recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff.

3. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills evidenced by 1) conducting training or making presentations on HR related topics; and 2) having written HR policy documents, or free form correspondence to personnel on HR related matters.

4. Experience in Microsoft Office with basic Excel experience.

5. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.



1. Knowledgeable in the use of ADP Workforce Now or other AT software.

2. PHR/SPHR Certification


-       Selectee will be required to participate in Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer as the Standard method of payment for payroll and travel purposes.

-       Males born after 12/31/59 and at least 18 years of age must be registered with the Selective Service System, unless covered by an exemption under the Selective Service Law, in accordance with 5 U.S. Code 3378.   Selectee will be required to provide a written statement regarding his registration status, unless he is exempted by this statute.

-       Must satisfactorily complete a Federal Background check



US Citizens and non-citizens authorized to work in the US, must have lived in the US for three of the last five years, and meet residency requirements set forth below:


1.Resided in the United States or its protectorate or territories (excluding short trips abroad, such as vacations);

2.Worked for the United States government as an employee overseas in a Federal or military capacity; or

3.Have been a dependent of a United States Federal or military employee serving overseas.
