  • Further develop recruiting strategies for open positions, identify the best sources of qualified candidates, and build a pipeline of talent that match company’s culture, core values, and business needs.
  • Facilitate effective resume screening, phone screening, and interviewing processes for various positions across all business units and departments.
  • Maintain and further refine the company’s Applicant Tracking System and associated data insights through the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Partner with marketing, social media, and website development teams to update “jobs” page ongoing and to further develop the company’s employment brand.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding process and ensure all HR documents and compliance requirements are completed.
  • Maintain job descriptions and organization charts, ensuring that all positions have complete and updated job descriptions.
  • Advise employees on company policies and procedures and ensure they have a thorough understanding during their introductory/onboarding period.
  • Facilitate communication and enrollment on company’s various benefit programs; ensure benefits and related deductions are set-up in payroll properly.
  • Stay current on Human Resources principles and practices, laws and regulations, and incorporate throughout HR interviewing, candidate selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Assist with the monthly tracking and reconciliation of insurance carrier and benefit provider invoices in partnership with the Accounting Department.
  • Collaborate with HR in the creation of employee engagement and core value-building programs and assist in other areas of strategic focus within the HR department.
  • Maintain AZ Department of Health Services compliance, HR coordination, and internal processes as it relates to Dispensary Agent cards and maintenance.
  • Make recommendations to improve internal processes and to implement innovative and effective HR programs that match with Harvest’s strategic goals.


  • 2+ years of experience specific to HR and experience with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring is highly desirable.
  • A love for working with people, contributing to a great company culture, and a passion for HR and Workplace Development.
  • Time management and strong organizational skills; detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership both verbally and through written media.
    • Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance and offer the same to those who are managed in the company.
    • Ability to engage and inspire employees relative to performance management and achievement of organizational goals.
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle high stress situations, to be adaptable, and to embrace change.
  • Proficient with HRIS platforms and familiar with ongoing maintenance of HRIS is a plus.
  • Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the work day. Must be capable of sitting in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Must be legally qualified to work in the US and have a valid driver’s license.



  • Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience/certifications.
  • Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required.
