Purpose: Under the direction of the Recruiting Manager provides support in the recruitment and hiring activities for the organization. This position aids in supporting confidential and sensitive information that is both internal and external facing.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Posting and marketing jobs within MPHI’s internal and external marketing systems following business processes for equity and inclusion.

  2. Coordinating multiple interviewers’ calendars in a timely manner to ensure communication amongst interview panel is concise.

  3. Scheduling conference rooms as needed for recruiting and onboarding processes.

  4. Setting up interviews with candidates, effectively communicating interview schedules to hiring managers, and sending applicant correspondence to candidates timely.

  5. Conducting background and reference checks on top candidates.

  6. Closing out positions and sending appropriate notifications to applicants.

  7. Maintaining electronic hiring files including: scanning and uploading all recruiting documentation such as, interview questions, background screening reports and applicant references to electronic recruiting system.

  8. Serves as the first line contact for all applicant inquiries and technical issues with MPHI’s electronic recruiting system.

  9. Interprets and relays sensitive and/or confidential information as appropriate.

  10. Aid to server as a liaison and resource to MPHI staff, supervisors, and internal and external clients on recruiting related issues.

  11. Assists with special projects and other administrative tasks as requested.

  12. Maintain a positive, strong, credible, professional and interpersonal relationship with all parties relevant of MPHI projects and always represent the best interest of MPHI.

  13. Uphold confidentiality with handling recruiting information.

  14. May participate in recruitment events during or outside of normal work hours.

  15. All other duties as assigned.

 


 

Qualifications/Requirements:

 

Education: Possession of a high school or general education diploma required. Some college experience and/or experience working in the Human Resources field preferred.     

 

Experience:    A minimum of three to five years’ experience in professional business setting, which includes regular contact with a wide variety of people and progressive more responsibility for administrative duties. Human Resource experience, specifically in the recruitment area is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Job may require moderate physical effort including lifting materials and equipment of <50# and involves viewing a CRT or VDT screen 25% to 75% of the time. Standard office environment. May require valid vehicle operator’s license where needed to perform duties of the position.

 

RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE WORK OF OTHERS: No assigned responsibility.

 

IMPACT ON PROJECTS, SERVICES AND OPERATIONS: This position serves as a member of the Human Resources team. This is a highly visible position as it works closely with the recruiting manager, applicants, internal and external clients, and current employees. The extent to which these duties are accomplished will dictate the extent to which the Human Resources department is effective. The position also directly impacts the professional credibility of MPHI due to the regular contact with both intern staff, external clients and potential applicants.
