Gold Medal Bakery is looking to hire an HR Recruiter in our Human Resources Department. 

Responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources with administration of HR programs related to recruitment.  Assist with the administration of Social Media for recruitment purposes as well as the integration of our company’s website with our recruitment platform.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Recruitment

  • Under the direction of the HR Director and the HR Manager, is responsible for recruitment, including identifying best sources for advertisement, establishment of contracts with advertising vendors, and identifying best practices for recruitment to address the changing business needs.
  • Coordinates screening process for exempt and non-exempt candidates, to include scheduling of interviews, conducting initial phone interviews, reference checking, and completion of pre-employment requirements by candidates.
  • Coordinates new hire training and on-boarding with HR Manager.
  • Assists with the creation and administration of Gold Medal accounts for various social media sites for recruitment purposes. Assist customer service in responding to questions, issues, or complaints posted on the social media sites that are directed to Gold Medal or its products.

Communications

  • Maintains relationships with outside job posting vendors, including sourcing, and selection of vendors.
  • Maintains relationships with outside social media websites, selection of various sites to post jobs or other materials.
  • Assist new hires with online enrollment of benefits and use of kiosks as needed.
  • As needed, produces various reports for Management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Majority of duties performed in administrative office setting.  Must be physically present for general employee and Supervisor support. 
  • Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs; periodic walking or standing.
  • Good interpersonal communications skills. Ability to communicate with prospective employees and obtain information necessary to evaluate candidates for employment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

 Analytical Ability

  • Position requires critical and analytical thinking, and ability to synthesize information and data for presentation purposes.

Communications/Contact with Others

  • Must exercise direction and discretion with employee and confidential information.  Must possess high level of organizational skills, clear public speaking skills to address groups, and ability to formulate decisions and implement practices with discretion from others

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience recruiting, manufacturing industry is highly preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
  • Must be proficient in HRIS software, preferably Ceridian Dayforce
