Position Summary
Full time position available on or after September 15, 2019 in Human Resources. (Classified: as Confidential Administrative Support, PSL I)

Under the general supervision of the Organizational Development & Programs Manager, this position provides a full range of on-going program support to the office of Human Resources, with specific emphasis and responsibilities in the areas of organizational/professional development, HR program support, records retention and applicant tracking software administration. This position will be the HR Campus Administrator for the CHRS Recruiting/PageUp software solution. This position performs work of a confidential nature in support of meet and confer and collective bargaining matters

Job Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
Coordination of the 360 evaluations program
Assist with the creation and maintenance of a professional development web page
Assist with the coordination and planning of professional development activities/events including the development of associated materials, logistics, surveys, and contract review
Serve as the Campus Administrator (CA) for the CHRS Recruiting/PageUp applicant tracking software (ATS)
Troubleshoot any issues with the ATS and escalate as needed to the Chancellor's Office team. Track issues to ensure timely resolution
Maintain all HR teams and permissions within the system, including the processing of workforce changes and requests as appropriate
Maintain all HR recruitment and approval workflows within the system and their associated communication templates
Create new onboarding workflows as needed. Improve upon existing workflows to enhance new hire experience
Attend required CA meetings with the Chancellor's Office and keep others informed of system related news
Prepare metrics and assist with benefits realization statistics in relation to the CHRS Recruiting project
Audit ATS as needed to ensure data and permissions are accurate
Assist with all HR configurations within the system
Participate in testing of new configurations within the system
Continuously seek ways to improve existing processes and configurations. As time permits, build upon existing templates and libraries within the system
Work closely with Employment & Talent Acquisition team in identifying issues, future configurations and enhancements to ATS. Keep Employment & Talent Acquisition team abreast of configuration changes made and refreshes/upgrades as they occur
Human Resources Support
Coordinate maintenance of personnel & HR files in accordance with CSU established records retention guidelines. Serve as HR records retention specialist for the campus
Assist with HR metrics and dashboard as needed
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in Business/Public Administration, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development or related degree. Experience:A minimum of two (2) full-time equivalent years of directly related work experience, which has provided exposure to administrative human resources procedures in areas such as HR database/ATS support; HR office administration, professional development, and recruitment

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of CSU employment policies and procedures
Full-time equivalence of two years or more of HR experience in a public sector/higher education human resources environment
Experience utilizing an Application Tracking system in some capacity (as a recruiter, coordinator/administrator, etc.)

Required Qualifications

Working knowledge of the principles of organization, administration, and management
Ability to analyze and find solutions to problems, work independently, communicate effectively, and write clear and concise reports
Ability to exercise personal initiative and independent judgment within the scope of the assigned duties
Ability to understand and apply the principles, concepts, and work processes, laws, rules and union contract materials pertinent to the professional operations of a HR office; ability to gather and analyze data
Ability to reason logically and make appropriate recommendations, carry out recommendations thru to implementation
Strong organizational skills and customer service, team-oriented collaborative work style approach in carrying out assignments
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a wide range of campus personnel, to engage trust, and to serve as a member of a larger team
Ability to handle highly sensitive materials and situations, to include confidential files; ability to maintain strict confidentiality and to exercise complete discretion, diplomacy, and good judgment
Ability to plan and organize multiple tasks and prioritize work, including setting and meeting deadlines
Intermediate to advanced level computer knowledge and skills (e.g. Outlook, Microsoft Office, HR relational database, applicant tracking software, website design/layout)
Demonstrated ability to draft and compose written correspondence and reports with thorough mastery of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling, including good proofreading and editing skills, at a level required of this position
Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting employment
Ability to understand problems from a broader perspective and anticipate the impact of office administration problems and solutions on other areas
Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections
Ability to use business mathematics and basic statistical techniques
Ability to use negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve results and expedite projects
Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and tact during high stress situations and under heavy workload, with conflicting priorities, frequent interruptions, and other demands
Demonstrated ability to initiate necessary actions, remain flexible, coordinate many activities simultaneously, and handle requests expeditiously using appropriate, mature judgment

Salary Range
$3,516 - $6,922 per month plus excellent paid benefits. (Anticipated salary will be $3,516 ? $3,868 per month, depending on the qualifications of the successful finalist.)
