The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.


    • Provides strategic HR advisory support for complex HR issues and activities including change management.

    • The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company

    • Strong project management skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution and achievement of the right results

    • Drive performance management processes, partner with leaders to provide proactive guidance and support with coaching, counseling, and performance improvement actions.

    • Partner with internal leaders to resolve employee relations issues and escalate issues as appropriate, provide guidance on complex ER matters and conduct investigations as needed.

    • Provide management coaching to build leadership capabilities to drive growth and revenues.

    • Manage a proactive recruitment strategy that includes heightened brand awareness, engagement with the community, and builds a solid pipeline of candidates.

    • Provide compensation support including: salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-banding. Provides consultation and benchmarking insights for job offers based on strategic need.

    • Responsible for participating and/or leading project management and process improvement initiatives to create, revise or improve policies, procedures and HR practices.

    • Actively manage the HRIS function: recommend changes to current processes to provide more effective use of the HRIS and take the lead as a project manager to implement these changes (i.e. onboarding and exits, employment changes, performance management, etc.), create and/or generate formal and ad hoc reports and provide key metrics as requested or recommended

    • Vendor Management: partner and collaborate with suppliers, vendors and other cross functional teams in the development and implementation of programs (resolve issues, address prioritization, manage risks) to ensure success

    • A strong solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions

    • The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"

    • Act as an advocate for all levels of employees.

    • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results

    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills



    • At least 7+ years experience in a HR generalist capacity including extensive experience and understanding of the recruitment and selection, compensation, talent management, employee relations and employee communications processes.

    • Strong business acumen and experience in driving change through an organization.

    • Proven ability to customize HR processes to address the human capital needs for a defined environment.

    • Outstanding record of successfully managing customer expectations and proactively identifying/addressing business needs.

    • Courage to provide input, feedback and counter opinions to ensure optimal business decisions.

    • Experience managing various HRIS programs

    • Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate win-win solutions with business leaders, applying critical thinking and creative problem solving abilities.

    • Demonstrated success in quickly building a strong network within Human Resources and other staff groups to effect seamless delivery of services for customers.

    • SHRM or other accredited certification preferred.
