As the HR Manager, you will lead a team of Corporate Recruiters to find talented candidates and place them in roles in which they will be both successful and happy. You will also lead an HR Specialist in various programs to drive high employee engagement and retention while supporting a culture of empowerment, accountability and inclusion.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead Corporate Recruiters to ensure timely filling of open requisitions with high-quality talent; sign off on job descriptions, collaborate with senior leadership to determine prioritization of open requisitions, drive university recruiting strategy, drive and oversee recruiting marketing and manage all job boards.
  • Lead HR team members in various HR tasks and projects including, but not limited to employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits administration and compensation.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable legal requirements, maintaining records, completing internal audits, etc.
  • Consistently shadow interviews to provide feedback to Corporate Recruiters; provide coaching, as needed, to ensure a consistently positive candidate experience.
  • Work on high-level, strategic HR projects as directed by the Director of HR.
  • Be a thought partner and support the vision for Recruiting, ensuring that the vision aligns with both the department and company vision.
  • Serve as the Recruiter on tough-to-fill and/or executive-level requisitions.
  • Actively lead, coach, support and motivate direct reports through regular 1:1s, performance reviews and other meetings to support personal and professional growth.
  • Ensure there is consistent auditing and optimization of all HR and recruiting programs to maximize efficiency and results.
  • Conduct annual benchmarking of compensation and benefits.
  • Complete HR operational requirements as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of HR.


Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources, psychology or a business-related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in human resources; of this experience, at least 4 years should include corporate recruiting experience.
  • Proven leadership experience with at least 2+ years of experience managing 2+ direct reports.
  • Positive attitude with unwavering growth mindset.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent client (internal or external) service.
