Position Summary:         

The HR Manager will provide strategic HR leadership and manage human resources activities for a specific location(s). This individual will drive organizational capability within the assigned plant site to help meet growth and productivity goals. This position will lead and execute critical HR processes for recruitment, selection, talent management, development, and succession planning. This position spans more than one area of functional specialization within the human resources function, such as compensation, benefits, employee relations, payroll, recruiting and training.

  • Partner with plant managers to develop and execute organizational initiatives that achieves organizational capability
  • Ensure assigned manufacturing plants have the resource capability and bench strength to achieve business goals and growth strategies
  • Provide leadership, guidance and counsel to leaders on matters related to talent, organizational change, and human capital
  • Provide thought leadership to leadership teams to ensure understanding and execution of plans and HR initiatives
  • Actively participates in the development of long- and short-term strategic plans and ensures alignment of HR strategies in support of company goals. Supports programs, policies, and procedures with operations leadership
  • Develop an HR plan aligned with business objectives to include organizational design, succession planning, talent management, goal alignment, and communications
  • Support critical HR processes, which include Staffing, Employee and Labor Relations, Talent Review process, Performance Review process, compensation processes, and other relevant HR initiatives
  • Partners with the Safety Team on HSE activities of the facility and ensures associates are working safely
  • Maintains knowledge of relevant state HR policies, programs, laws and issues. Ensure all federal, state and local compliance requirements are met
  • Management and administration of human resource processes including compensation, benefits, other rewards programs

Requirements

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business related field

Prefer SHRM-SCP certification

 

Experience:

7+ years’ experience working with hourly manufacturing production workforces and leading teams.

Experience engaging manufacturing floor staff and experience with employee engagement

Project leadership and management

Leading individuals and teams

Leading HR Function for multi-sites

Utilization of HRIS tools and capabilities (ADP experience a plus)
