Position Overview

Apply to join us (the Freddie Mac Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion division) to support the HR Innovation & Integration team in support of our mission - Right People, Right Role, Right Now. In this role, you will lead in a hands on and visible role. The HR Innovation & Integration team is designed to address current HR process, assess external “Next generation HR” thinking, and understand key internal stakeholder needs and readiness. Specifically, the team supports key HR Diversity & Inclusion initiatives in a few ways

• It offers an HR consultative approach on HR D&I projects
• It reimagines certain HR projects/programs from an innovation lens and pilots new approaches
• It offers white paper thinking on emerging and relevant trends

Your work falls into these primary categories

• Reimagine HR priorities/processes from an innovation lens
o Participate in hypothesis generation, defining, running, testing and evaluating experiments in a methodical manner
o Project manage key initiatives leading to a “go/no go” decision
o Build, develop, and maintain critical relationships internally within HR D&I and within the company as a whole to ensure initiative relevance

• HR internal consultation
o Analyze and present data in a compelling manner
o Partner in excavating and evaluating innovative concepts and ideas presented by all HRDI employees

• White paper thinking on emerging trends
o Buildout of HR innovation community of practice
o Research to remain abreast of external best practice, research, and community contacts related to key projects & initiatives currently in queue


• Typically 5-7 years experience
• College degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years career experience within a corporate HR and/or Innovation environment
• 3+ years experience managing or executing on HR and/or Innovation projects
• 3+ years in a client facing role
• Basic to intermediate analytic skillset and/or aptitude
• Capacity to lead and engage dialogue between customers and technical experts
