Are you our next HR Generalist?

If so, TSI is looking for you.  In this role you, will work closely with the HR Team to support employee relations, recruiting, administrative tasks, application tracking system management and special projects as assigned.

What is a typical day in the life of an HR Generalist?

  • Assist HR team with the review of background checks, employee relation intakes, succession and workforce planning, and other HR projects.
  • Partner with business leaders to effectively manager team member issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR related policies and procedures.
  • Responsibility for various HR administrative functions as assigned.
  • Ensure that all hiring and onboarding processes are carried out in our applicant tracking system and manage our HRIS system.
  • Source, screen and interview for corporate and high level operational positions.
  • Conduct exit interviews and exit interview reporting.
  • Facilitate trainings, as needed.

 

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in a HR Generalist role, including supporting multiple locations (strong preference for retail, hospitality or fitness industry experience).
  • 2 – 3 years experience managing and developing others.
  • Working knowledge of EEOC and all other applicable employment laws, policies and procedures.
  • Solid understanding of HR best practice and trends.
  • Experience managing an applicant tracking system.
  • Extensive experience in employee relations issue management.
  • Strong ability to influence, exercise sound judgment and decision making skills.
  • Experience coaching and influencing operational leaders while balancing advocacy for all team members.
  • Familiarity in managing HRIS systems.
  • Experience in managing an annual review process in its entirety.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and sustain quality relationships with all levels of the organization and leverage resources to accomplish the goals.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate orally, in writing and in group presentation (facilitation skills).
  • Experience working through acquisitions is preferred.
