Job Summary:

The HR Generalist has broad HR responsibilities. Working with the HR team, the Generalist will manage and/or assist with all aspects of Human Resources including but not limited to benefits, compensation, employee relations, policies & procedures, performance management, on-boarding, workers compensation, terminations, and recruitment.


Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-boarding and hospital clearances for employees
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations (posters, I-9 forms, etc.) throughout RXH
  • Responsible for the complete recruitment process
  • Conducts thorough employee investigations
  • Assist employees with questions and information on all RXH benefits
  • Manage new and existing work-related injuries
  • Educate managers on transitional work policy and track usage in order to minimize and control loss with work-related injuries.
  • Educate RXH managers on proper disciplinary action process
  • Manage unemployment claims
  • Track and input monthly license renewals for clinical staff
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Prepare various HR communications
  • Cultivate and maintain positive and productive relationships with hospital partner HR departments and RXH staff at all levels
  • Manage exit interview process and information
  • Responsible for annual OSHA reporting
  • Assist with performance evaluation process
  • Assist with promoting a friendly, respectful atmosphere and culture
  • Work with and coach managers and employees with resolving employee grievances
  • Assist in publicizing and enforcing firm policies & procedures
  • Assist with creating / updating job descriptions
  • Run standardized and special request reports
  • Respond to regularly occurring requests for information
  • Maintain employees’ personnel files
  • Assist in administering medical, dental, vision, life, LTD, AD&D, FMLA as needed
  • Participate in annual renewal / open enrollment
  • Other duties as assigned



Education and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years Human Resources experience that includes employee relations experience
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be flexible and deal with constantly shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Intermediate to advance skills in MS word and excel a must
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint a plus
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce a plus
  • Experience in the out-sourcing or services industries a plus
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, analytical, problem-solver and have excellent follow-up skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Proven track record of being able to partner with internal and external customers
  • Proactive team player
  • Working knowledge of current state and federal laws
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
